Grounded in our UU principles and founded in 1940 to save those most at risk of Nazi oppression, the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC), is a non-denominational international human rights organization that advances the cause of justice worldwide. UUSC has four program areas: · Economic Justice the right to a living wage · Environmental Justice the right to access clean, safe, affordable water · Civil Liberties the right to vote, to be free from torture, to be able to speak ones conscience · Rights in Humanitarian Crises the protection of human rights of those most vulnerable, because of race, gender, class, age when natural disasters strike

Advocacy · Become a Human Rights Defender
