UUCC participates in many broad-based community outreach and interfaith programs.
Members and friends of our congregation volunteer for a variety of tasks at the Domestic Violence Center of Howard County.

UUCC is a participating congregation in the interfaith organization People Acting Together in Howard (PATH), an Industrial Areas Foundation affiliate. PATH has three main focuses: Affordable housing, public transportation and programs for youth.

One Sunday each month, members and friends of UUCC prepare several hundred bag lunches for the Beans and Bread shelter in downtown Baltimore. One Saturday each month, members and friends bake casseroles that are delivered to the shelter. This is an interfaith activity jointly with the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Baltimore.
Help stock a Howard County Food Bank. Deposit non-perishable food items in the bin in the upstairs kitchen.

Award-winning Cradlerock Children’s Center is affiliated with UUCC. The congregation, through the Social Action Council, funds scholarships to Cradlerock which is a unique day care center and preschool that fosters the development of loving hearts, growing minds and helping hands.
Cradlerock Children’s Center is located in the lower level of the Owen Brown Interfaith Center.
